I also really like both the French and British cannon sets.Is the French one an older release and therefore close to retirement do you think?.

Rob.

I have the French cannon and it is a very nice set and I belive that it has been around for nearly 3 years (?) so it may be up for retirement soon, who knows? The Napoleonics seem to stay available for longer than some of the WW2 stuff, maybe higher quantities are made (and so they should be).

Thank you Jeff.I might get the French gun soon, sounds as if its been around a while then.Better safe than sorry,i'm going to put them at either end of a bookshelf and have them fire at each other:)

I think the French Cannon set will still be around a little longer due to the fact it is an "OLD GUARD" set. Andy, I dont think is going to retire any old guard soon - at least I hope not. If Andy comes out with a French 3rd Line Cannon Set in the next few months - then buy as many as you can......that will mean the days are number for the Old Guard Set.
