Napoleonic Release - Your guess is as good as mine (2 Viewers)

I thought you said what, four or five months ago Andy told you French Artillery was next on deck Ron.

Something interesting to re-visit ...

Observation, based on the approximate timing of the post, its taken some 15 months for the French Artillery sets to materialise. Perhaps it was due to the economic environment, but I sure hope that ... generally new releases have a shorter lead time from "determination" to "fruitation". :)

Not to long ago - I spoke with Andy about the future of Napoleonics ....

He said that he had several more ideas to bring out in the Russian Range before he planned to start another Napoleonic Country range. I would guess that Cossacks would be high on the list - as well as other Mounted Figures. We can keep our fingers crossed for some dead or wounded figures ;)

On the subject of Polish Lancers - the KCS figures was a tremendous success and would be a big hit if made - IMHO.

Here's hoping that Andy has not changed his mind, about the potential of mounted Russian figures. Either Cossacks or Guards cavalry or a Tsar command set, will be most welcomed to complement the infantry & artillery released.

As a dealer my experience has been that the Russian Infantry sold the least well of the Allies infantry figure groups. I am guessing Andy's comments were made before he had realised the Russian sales were not that good compared to the others. Bringing up his old comment now does not mean that he may be still thinking that way.
However the first post is interesting :)

If K&C ever did a Cossack figure, even as a club piece, I would get one. My ancestors were in the Cossack militia and cavalry.
