These figures will be on sale at Fort York, Ontario Canada gift shop. Special thanks to Ken Cliffe of All the king's men toy soldiers for letting me help him with this order. These are Glengarry light infantry, The King's own Regiment, and Upper Canadian Militia.

Hi Drew,

painting the figures does take time. Do you have a method to speed the process up?
I have tried allsorts but my lack of enough time and commitments elsewhere dont help.
I find that painting a few hundreds at the same time helps as the mixing of paint can be used more efficiently .. say painting 20 figures with blue trousers and then another 20 different figures who require the same blue colour on their jacket or trim etc,... Eventually I get a time where they all seem to be finished around the same period.
I also keep starting fresh figures to keep the cycle going

I agree that painting groups of figures at one time uses paint more efficiently. When I used to paint for Sarum Soldiers I found that 50 figures was enough at one time otherwise it seemed to be never ending. Now I just paint a set at the time for pleasure :)rolleyes:). At the end of the day there isn't unfortunately a quick fix for painting figures en masse except a lot of patience.

Jeff

Hi Jeff
I have always painted for pleasure, but I ended up with 1000's of figures after 20 years and a tolerant wife, so I started selling them a few years ago and registered as a business to comply with our trading/tax laws in the UK.
It has since taken off really well. I still paint for myself and I am currently working on the new AIP CHARGE of the LIGHT BRIGADE figures.
Happy painting
