napoleonics releases and the plumes (1 Viewer)

Common sense would say that thousands of Europeans should not line up on the field of battle in nice even rows in brightly coloured uniforms and then proceed to blast each other until one side gave up - but they did. Back then, common sense said the more ostentatious the uniform, plumes included, the better for intimidating the enemy. But like Pierre I am also no expert on the topic of Russian Napoleonic uniforms.

CS & Pierre,
I have no issues with either of you. But I'm sick of this argument that goes round and around and gets us nowhere. Let us agree to amiacably disagree. I respect you two gentlemens point of view (even though its not mine) and defend your right to express it in the friendly and respectful manner in which you have done so.
Regards
H

I dont mean to be speculating about the remedy for a loose plume I have found them loose in the box before and corrected the problem with a touch of glue. Rob
