OK I'm going to float another idea for Borodino. The Poles! They were probably Napoleon's strongest ally, pinning their hope for independence on Napoleon's victory. Polish lancers and infantry would be a great subject.

Lets hope this question has the Same result as the last one you posed ;). I would most definitely be interested in some Polish lancers I think I voted for them in the pole awhile back .

Polish lancers have been done to death in my opinion. Of course, we'll do them at some point, but more likely to come first is the much more numerous polish infantry. Borodino wouldn't be complete without Poniatowski's corps represented....

I myself would rather see Polish infantry first. In most any battle, the infantry outnumbers the cavalry or the artillery. Well before the Lancers, I would like to see the French Hussars, or British/Russian heavy cavalry to go against the Carabiniers. Saxon heavy cavalry would be great also

Saxon Heavy ! NOW YOU ARE TALKING ! That is my Fav The officer Helm is out of this world and I would love to see how well FL could pull off the detail in that one. I'm sure it would be a must have then again aren't they all ;);)

Polish infantry would be another pass for me but I hope you all eventually get everything you want.;) First British heavy Dragoons are indeed a must, hopefully engaged against French Cuirassiers or Dragoons or dispatching large chunks of Erlon's Corps.:D

I'd love to see the polish infantry also and Poniatowski is a definite candidate for the personality line ;) And the Lancers have been done to death but not by First Legion and being done before and being done by FL are two different things :) I have lancers on the brain I've been checking out Histoire & Collections vol 6 and the Polish Chevau-Legers look freaking kick *** . I would settle for some Prussian Uhlan though ( now that would be something ):D:D

Hi Matt,
Any chance we could expect some Prussian or Bavarian Calvary next year both are most needed :D

Other companies have done Prussian Cavalry, I would love to see Bavarian cavalry, Artillery or Jaegers. Any new stuff is cool.

Who has done Prussian Cavalry that would be considered to be in the same class as First Legion Napoleonics ? That is the question ;) And of course all your other suggestions sound ****ed good to me :)

Tinbay.com has done Prussian Cavalry. I have a couple of their pieces. They are more expensive than First Legion and IMO, not as well done. I guess that I misspoke. One company that I know of, has done Prussian Cavalry.

I agree with your assessment of TB ;) I have their Saxon Cavalry Figure ( IMO its pretty good ) I think I paid about all together 130 and it just makes me want FL to do them all the more :D

Right you are mate. Although I would like to see some more Brits before we get to the Saxons.;):D

I agree completely! The Highlanders, the 95th and a County Regiment. I keep repeating the mantra to myself. A question though, did the 23rd Welch Fusiliers still have their bear skin head dress at Waterloo?

I love it! Would you mind if I stole your mantra? This sums up what I would really like to see produced.

I thought the bear skins were left behind when the units were on campaign.

Well the Highlanders have been previewed so they are definitely coming. I think the 23rd was wearing the belgic shakos at Waterloo and they are shown as such in this painting by Brian Palmer; not that paintings always get it right.

I have also found nothing indicating that they did not wear shakos in the Peninsula.
