Greetings Hiriart collectors,

After a long layoff from posting... here is a new Zulu War set, Hiriart's representation of the Natal Carabineers. This is part of a project started almost two years ago. I hope you like it.

Best always.

John

John,

What a great set! I have never seen it before. I am going to order me a five figure version in either 2015 or 2016.

Thanks Mike.

I thought you would like that one... here is shot of the troop heading out on patrol ahead of the columns. The project is coming along.

Best,

John

John,

What a great display of a Zulu War column. It looks like you have all Hiriart special commission double sets on display. I see the 17th Lancers, 1st Dragoon Guards, and the Natal Carabineers plus the first four horses of two Royal Artillery Gun teams. I can't make out the British Infantry, but a guess would be Grenadier Guards, 13th Somerset Light Infantry, and 21st Royal Scotts Fusiliers. Do you have any more photos of the sets following them?

Mike,

Glad you like the group. This is the rear of the column... you can see mounted infantry in the foreground and the 80th and 91st infantry in the background.
The 60th Rifles, the catalog version of the 17th Lancers and another Dragoon Guards set are not shown. I'll try to work on some pictures of some of the individual sets.

More later.

John
