Ok, so here I get to be a proud Dad and thought I would share this with people of like minds. My son recently won his school award, placed in the County and missed going to the States by one position for his National History Day Documentary on his hero - Winston Churchill. I can honestly say I did zero help to him on this project as his skills on a Mac are far beyond my capability. He did this all on his own. If you have 10 mins, IMO its a good watch and his first "film" and it is on a great subject. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOsicrcVTW0

Enjoy

Much to be proud of there Tom, that was a great Documentary by your son, love the slideshow as he discussed the issues of Churchhill and WWII, not sure how he missed out on going to State with that presentation??? either way a great job again by your son....got to ask?? is he a toy soldier collector???:)

Thanks very much. Actually, it was quite disappointing on the why he didn't make the States. He was beat out by a "Heroin Problem in Baltimore" documentary. His own teacher was very frustrated that a current hot issue was even allowed to be submitted as it was not with the purpose or the theme. That said, as you can imagine a political hot button of today played out and "ole Winston" was not given his due credit!! That is my opinion, not taking away from the hard work of someone else!

so wonderful Tom! Such a great job! Please convey my admiration to Logan on such a fine documentary

Tom ... I am really impressed by the professionalism and clarity of the presentation.
I know how much goes into one of these as I have an upcoming talk to the Lincoln Country Historical Society.

He spoke so clearly and confidently it is obvious he "KNEW HIS TOPIC".

Congrats to your son on a very fine job. :salute::
