I am looking for a U.S. Navy Color Guard set. I am not sure if WBritians ever made one but I have not found one to date. I heard that Ron Wall Miniatures once made a set and perhaps some other small company. Can anyone out there provide me with some guidance? I am also looking for a Navy Band set that I once saw advertised in a 1991 magazine. Thanks for any information .

Martin Ritchie made one about 15-18 years ago, not sure if he is even still around. I was one of his painters at the time and I actually have one.

Also Quartermaster Corp makes one. If you are interested let me know, I am the painter for those also.

Hi,

As far as I know the folks at Britains only produced a set of marching sailors and an officer in dress whites from about 1946 to sometime in the 1960's. I know they have produced a bunch of Marines and other Color Gurads but I am going to have to see if ROAN pops in to answer this question for sure. I would think they would have made at least one over the years.
They may well have produced one in the 80's but I dont know for sure. The set number from the marching sailors is set 1253 and 9184 which had a minor alteration to the paint and number of sailors in the set.

If I find out any more information I will let you know.

All the best

Dave

Thanks Sue and Dave for your responses. I appreciate the information and will look into both of the Britians' sets. Also, where can I find out more about the quatermaster set? Is there a web site? Thanks.
