Nazi Gold Train 'found in Poland' (1 Viewer)

Burying a whole armoured train sounds like a lot of work. Surely, anything good would've been taken during the process?

As I understand it the 150 metre train was hidden in a tunnel which was part of a secret underground war plant. You would think there must be something in this as the two guys have Lawyers drawing up papers to guarantee they get 10% of the value of the find. Robin.

If the train is still complete, but empty, it must be worth a bob or two :wink2:

Cheers

This is going to bring up some complicated questions about who the good belongs to, considering it was plundered from Russian homes, prisoners, and churches. It seems to me that if the two men get any money, it should come from another source so that the money from the good can go to help charities is Russia.

This all sounds a bit like a mix of the movies .. "The Monuments Men"; "The Woman in Gold" (Staring Helen Mirren, Ryan Reynolds and Katie Holmes) and the book "The Amber Room" by Steve Berry.

There will probably never be a clear title to the treasure and the arguing and claims will go on for decades. It is the same with a sunken treasure ship. As soon as anything comes to the surface the courts get flooded with claims of ownership. It sounds like a flock of seagulls ... mine, mine, mine, ...mine, mine...... (If you saw Finding Nemo you will get it!!)

The only Russian " charities ",that would get any money, would be Putin's empty pockets.:mad:Michael
