Any news as to when this figure will be available?

The new German NCO figure 25075 looks remarkably like Unterofficer Rolf Steiner portrayed by James Coburn in the 1977 film Cross of Iron by Sam Peckinpah. The film is one of the best depicting Eastern Front warfare during WWI. Ken Osen must be very fond of this film to sculpt a figure with such a close resembalance IMO.

Sounds somewhat simliar to somebody else.

If Steiner does not surface within the next several months, not a good sign ! I would like to get the figure myself !

Life in those Russian POW camps is very hard, don't get your hopes up. LOL, LOL

I followed your lead and pre-ordered the Steiner figure and one other figure from Treefrog.
