i have a very old royal coach that i would like to identify. the coach is pulled by 6 horses, the front horse has a soldier on it. he is wearing a helmet. inside the coach is a man dressed like a general or someone higher. he has a woman that sits beside him. the driver of the coach is dressed the same as the horse rider, with a helmet. on the back of the coach are two attendants. they have napolean style hats on.

the coach is very ornate, on the top is a crest with a suit of armor helmet and two swords crossed. on the side is an eagle. on the rear behind the wheels are cherubs. the coach is covered like a cindarella coach. the door opens and the two people inside come out.

the heads of the people come off. i think they are made of lead, a soft material. the faces are hand painted with great detail.

this came from germany but the womans husband may have picked it up in france. a soldier in the world war 1, picked it up out of a bombed out house and gave it to his wife.

Re: What Are the Hardest Retired Sets/Figures/Vehicles to Find ?

I think you wandered into the wrong thread but no matter :). Can you post a photo? If you have trouble doing that, please send it to me and I'll post it. There are several people here who are very good at identifying anything and everything.

Hi Steve,
Welcome to the forum.
I have moved your question to "General Toy Soldier Discussion" so that more glossy collectors will find it. Please post a picture as jazzeum suggested, it will greatly assist people in helping you to identify the set.
Regards,

I don't think we have enough to really justify its own section.
