Any ideas as to the maker of this WW2 German Cameraman? Thanks.

Hi, Lawrence, no idea, but it looks like new/contemporary make, that is, from the 90s through today. Also, the figure's legs and torso remind me very much of a standing figure Tamiya included in some of its model kits, and suggests to me that this is a homemade/homecast figure, based on a kitbash of a commercially available plastic figure as a master. But that's an educated guess.

Prost!

Never forget a face eh Brad? It reminded me of that Tamiya figure too. This is the one it made me think of. You might just have cracked it.

Just ignore the arms etcetera - and concentrate on the stance and head - the rest of the figure is made up of arms and milliput - well - maybe???? jb

Thanks for the help. Thought it might be Frontline. Looks like it might be a homecast. Fits in with old K&C glossy WW2 so am happy with him in the collection.

New addition that I would like to know more about. I can only make out Cameo Person on the base. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Larry!

This is a Cameo "Personality". They were castings that were painted by various painters, etc. Your's looks pretty good, I have a few of that one too laying around. I also think the mould itself was later copied as you see this Goering pose with other bases too.

Tom,
Thanks for the info. Do you know what the last line on the base is? Thanks. LL

He sure does, Scott, and I wonder about the kit's origins. The seller doesn't have anything listed.

Prost!
