I have a collection of about 30 WWII vehicles in 1/35 scale but I want to build up an army to crew them and for them to support faster than I can build and paint figures. Plus, I like the poses of some ready built ones. I have heard that scale seems to vary with manufacturer even though they are said to be 1/32 or 1/30. What works best in your opinion? I am currently looking at the Oryon ones as they are said to be 1/35.

I don't mind if the scale is off by a little, as I will try to keep 1/35 scale figures and 1/32 or 1/30 ones separate.

And just for fun here's something I want to get crew for. This is built from the latest Dragon kit, and it came with figures. However, the plastic they are made out of is extremely difficult to work with.

Hi there,

Nice looking 88! As to current makers Oryon has some very nice looking figures I have been considering for my Crimean display. But what about Tamiya? They used have pretty good figures when I was still actively building kits at least I really liked them. I also liked Monogram but thats a long time ago...

I found Oryan figures are the best for 1/35 and Dragon made some for there range as well
