Hello,
Im new here so Im not sure if Im putting this in the correct section, but I recently inherited all these Toy soldier, which I know nothing about. Only a couple have manufactor names but all the rest are blank... Please help me out.. Some are clearly cival war, and really just not sure about the rest. The Midieval Knights and horses have the name "Veronese" on the bottom but cant find like these online any where. I need to sell them but just not sure what they are worth.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi mate from Australia, welcome, in your 2nd and 3rd photo you have an American Revolutionary metal figure running with American flag, would you accept, $45 and do you have pay pal, + postage also, would be great if can do, by the way you have quite a mix, better of putting plastic together and metal figures seperate, easier. look forward hearing from you, all the best Trevor

Im willing to sell them all, so yes, however I really would like to know what they are too. They all feel incredibly heavy so I think they are all metal. I dont believe any of them are plastic.

Hi Tahoe guy,

I would need to see bigger photos of these items to help you ID them. There looks to be a good mix of types and eras. I could see what looked like Dimestore WWII American Soldiers. There also looked like there are some WBritians figures as well as a few other makers so if you can post larger photos I am sure we can help you with the ID and getting them sold.

Hi, TahoeGuy, welcome to the forum! I'll second Dave and Trevor, if you could separate the figures into smaller groups and take closer pictures, that would help us ID them for you.

Prost!
Brad

I hope these pictures are a little better.. if you need any closer just let me know and thank you guys for all your help

Hi Tahoe guy,

No they arent junk at all! Been a little busy with my kids and simply forgot to check this thread for posts.

I see several makers right off that I can ID and will get my books out to make sure. But it looks like you have some Britains, maybe a few King and Country (Colonial figures) Grey Iron and perhaps Barclay Dime Store Figures as well as a few others. So give us a little time and we'll help you out.

Hi Tahoe Guy - A suggestion for you.

Go to e-bay and have a look in Toy Soldier section. Put in titles such as "Barclay Manoil Toy Soldiers" for that type - or Britains for those - etcetera (you can use the headings that Dave suggests too) - and then just have a look at hundreds of them. You may be able to ID yours from the pics shown and described - and also get an idea of value from the prices show. You may be pleasantly surprised at how much some of yours go for. They are certainly NOT Junk!

Probably your best bet would be to sell them there too - probably to local countrymen - as shipping costs can get prohibitive to someone overseas - unless they desperately want them!

Best of luck anyhow - johnnybach
