Question: How does a seller offset any negative or for that matter neutral eBay Feedback Reports left for him by a buyer that shows up under the seller's feedback report left at the seller's MyeBay Account page???

I have seen sellers leave their offsetting comments or rebuttals that are posted just under the negative or neutral comments left by a buyer, but I do no know the procedure to have this done. So far since 2005 when I started up with eBay I have had no Negative Feedbacks & only about two Neutrals. But I would like to know how to do this in case the need ever comes along.

Thanks for any advise you can give me.

Cheers Gary,

When logged on the eBay site, go to the very bottom of the page and click the link for "SITE MAP". Once you are there, look to the far right under the header "Community." Right below that is another section titled "Feedback". In your case, click on the 5th link down which is "Reply to Feedback Received". This should do it for you.

Good Luck,

Dear "Beaufighter":
Splendid! Thank you so much for the information I requested. I will write down your information you gave me and keep in my eBay file folder hoping I will not have to use it. But with sellers no longer being able to leave negative or neutral feedback reports for some years now this ability to leave at least a "rebuttal" to any buyer's negative / neutral feedback report is at least very helpful.
Thanks again, "Iron Brigade"
