I'm glad 21st Century and FOV produce 1/32 scale, rather than the giants of K&C and Conte. I'm 42 and grew up on Marx, Airfix, Britain's, etc. When I think "toy soldier," a somewhat stunted GI Joe isn't what comes to mind. I've been conditioned to the 2 1/4" to 2 1/2" specimans that 21st and FOV create. It just seems more natural to me. This isn't a knock against K&C, because I know they produce excellent figures. Unfortunately, they're far too big for my tastes (and wallet). Someone else mentioned this on another thread, but it's probably unrealistic to compare the two factions, as K&C creates museum-quality work, whereas FOV and 21st Century specialize in "toys" (outstanding toys, to be sure).
