New 38T has arrived! (1 Viewer)

DM101,

The release qtys are too different to afford an apples for apples comparison. If it was just 97pcs of 38t, it will probably go viral. This is like a Series 250. The last major hit was the Italian Amato tank, where it just sold out quietly.

A few of the big dealers seem to be sold out of all 3 versions and are no longer listing them. But a few dealers in the US and two dealers in Canada still have all 3 versions.

Chris ,

The Italian M13/40 was a quick sell , I really like that AFV...The 38t's @ 450 available are going quick...kingandcountry.com & TreeFrog & various others I have checked they are no longer available...
I have my two , & am very happy , just got to get a tank commander set for #202...
I read Terry's post & he states they are still available at some dealer's , so if you want one I guess you have to act fast...
I also recall a very favorable reception for the French Char B1...
I would say the common denominator here is the quick sellers are AFV's that everybody neglect's to make...
How well would a Polish AFV sell?

The Poles had 2 main tank models. The 7TP had a 37mm gun and was better than the Pz I, Pz II, 35(t) and possibly better than the 38(t). I would love someone to make one. But a word of caution. The track and wheel assembly is complex and would be fragile to mould. The road wheels are tiny and if produced with the usual muddy tracks would obscure the road wheels which is a feature of the early war tank. The road wheels on the 38(t) are big so the muddy track doesn't obscure them, but imagine how it would look on a 7TP.

Unless it was done like the Italian tank

Terry ,

I believe the Polish 7TP would go over rather well...We are getting a plethora of early German Blitzkrieg AFV's & Infantry , Might be nice to bring in some of the combatant's from the early period as well...IMHO...A handful of Polish Infantry & a Polish 7TP would be a nice FOB addition !!!
Just really excited to see more of the Axis High Water mark period (1939 - 1942) , Andy/K&C has wet our appetite with the 38t & early grey Wehrmacht...
Could be an exciting period for collecting K&C if Andy doesn't do an about face on this period...ALOT of possibilites here !!!
Here's a pic of the Polish forces i have been able to muster to date !!!

I can find only TURRET 202 in a old war picture so far...

Here's my piece, so it is in fact historically quite accurate - this tank does "exists" {sm4}

It is killing me. I have asked over and over for groups of vehicles, and now that one finally delivers I can't afford them! Saving for the Hanomag, instead.
