Here is a neat item I just received that was an early 45th bday gift. As most know, I love Kelly's Heroes, so here is a wonderful representation on canvas by Doug Dearth. I can't wait to hang it!! It is currently a 1 of 1 so it is watermarked accordingly below to protect the artist!

That is correct, I guess I started a product line! I can only take credit for the idea, Doug ran with my initial thoughts and ideas but being a terrible artist, I take no responsibility for the end result, he did a nice job. He brought what I wanted as a unique more artsy representation of my favorite movie but it had to include the major players and the iconic tank. There is also a Little Joe type of guy in the way background!. I wasn't sure if Dave was going to go with a run, but I can tell you I have #1 with a special inscription!

I must be a good catalyst for the Kelly's Heroes Revival - the K&C Tank that was made a few years ago was based on a one off model I had commissioned and Andy used for a master, unfortunately that one off got destroyed in the manufacturing and design process!!!

For Kelly fans - watch this space, I have a number of other scale Kelly Commissions to post to the board - I have it represented in every scale known! (Except 1 to 1), my wife said no Oddball Sherman in the driveway..........

Further plug for Doug at Dearthco.net Doug is truly unique and gifted and this is a really cool medium that is affordable. More background - the canvas prints are mounted, sort of wrapped frame. They are easy to hang, and look very nice. He does a myriad of subjects in his own style. Obviously, you can commission him to do an original. So, point, if you are looking for something unique or he has a wealth of other subjects, it is a cool style for the wall. I like stuff that you can't just show up at a home goods store and buy and Doug's artwork has a very personal touch to it.
