Will there be any more new AK releases?

Specifically, what's the chance of a desert version of the Panzer IV?

Looks like a Panzer IV from the 15th Panzer Division, 8th Panzer Regiment , II Battalion, 7th Company in Tunisia late in the North Afrika campaign.

Ah...I feel stupid not noticing that. Especially since it's labeled as such online.

I think what threw me off was that I was so impressed with the other Panzer IV's, particular with the Schurzen. Was Schurzen not used in North Afrika? If it was, my question would then be whether CS would consider doing an AK version with Schurzen.

Don't know what it is about the extra armor, but it makes the tanks stand out. That...and I don't love the markings on the current AK Panzer.

Schurzen was not used in North Afrika so the DAK version of the Panzer IV doesn't have any.

If you really want a DAK P4 with Schurzen, K&C did one about ten years ago. It only had the turret supplementary armor, and not for the hull. Probably on ebay right now.

That model does have schurzen on the turret. Schurzen was originally as protection against Russian anti-tank rifles on Panzer III, Panzer IV, Stugs and later on Panthers. But as schurzen was ordered by Hitler to be used in March 1943 and as the North Afrika campaign ended in May, less than 60 days later, if an AK Panzer IV had schurzen, it was probably field applied and unusual. The CS Panzer IV correctly does not have Schurzen for their AK model but does have it for European Panzer IVs.
