I just received this fantastic vehicle. What great detailing and painting. The steyr and the figures are really very well done. I encourage anyone who collects Britians to seriously consider adding this one to your collection. I have the winter version (also a great model) and I think the ambushed version is much improved. :) :) :) :) :)

Michael,

I agree, they are awesome!!!! So was the kittengrad and the Pak 40 sets. I very much look forward to the US M8 next.

For those of us who have commented on packing systems and some of the resulting damage, you should take a look at the way Britains packages their sets.

The Steyr comes in a box with formed foam in multiple layers to adjust for size changes in the figures and vehicles. The box the Steyr comes in is HUGE. It measures 9 inches wide, 8 inches tall and 12 inches in depth. That’s 864 cubic inches. The Steyr itself is only 3x2.5x6 inches or 45 square inches. Taking account of the figures that come with the set, that’s more than 800 cubic inches of protection. You would have to have an 18-wheeler run over the box to cause damage. What a deal. Now about storage space……..

I Agree i have the new pak gun and it really is a beutiful piece of work. The packaging is excellant and it arrived by post safe and sound. Well done the Britains team keep up the good work.
Looking forward to geeting the rest of the WW2 items

I agree. The Kettenkrad and scenic base was amazingly well packaged.
Now maybe the next step would be some more individualised outer boxes.

I recall Richard saying they were going to look at packaging after the website is up, so maybe we will hear something.
