I picked up these two figures on my trip to Fredericksburg VA this weekend. By far the best looking General Stuart figure I have ever seen on the market. Can't wait until next year with the new civil war releases! :D

I can not wait either since I want to model in K&C, They are retiring alot of ACW items. I am going to try and get what I can now and wait for the new stuff. Our host has several items.:smile2:

I agree and am trying to get a few of the older ones as well. Andy said there are plans for new ACW figures next year and with it being the 150th Gettysburg it sounds to be great! ^&grin

Have to agree with the previous comments and will also add that the rest of K&Cs Reb Cavalry are stunning pieces too and remain my favourites amongst a host of other manufacturers mounted cavalry troops. I have no idea how well these ACW figures sold on the market but personally I have been bitterly disappointed that Andy seems to have completely forgotten the collectors of the blue and the gray over the last couple of years. I sincerely hope that we see not only just one new set next year but regular additions to this exceptional series

Excellent scenes as normal Bob, I agree with all in this thread that these ACW mounted Rebs are a superb wave of releases, not heard a bad word about them. I hope we see more of the ACW from K&C, its a fascinating and engrossing conflict on a huge scale and they do a real good job with their releases for it.

Keep up the good work mate!

Rob

I don't think ACW has, unfortunately, been a big seller for them. Otherwise, I'm sure we would have seen more because they are really excellent figures, as you have demonstrated Bob.

Although I am not an ACW collector I respect those who are and am rooting for them to get some new releases soon. I am curious how strong the collector following is for this era ^&confuse

Pretty strong I think. This is one of the principal ranges for Britains and I think they do very well with it. Same for First Legion and probably Conte.

For whatever reason, and I may be totally offbase here, the Civil War period has never held a strong fascination for the K & C collector.

I agree with you. It is one of the leading ranges to collect I believe. Also I am not sure about the whole K&C collector stuff, but it does seem to not hold its own. Andy did say there was more civil war to come in 2013 so let's keep our fingers crossed! :)

Both Britain and Conte focus heavily on ACW. Front Line does as well. ACW has a HUGE market in the U.S. as well as overseas.
