I just wanted to comment on the the new American Revolution continental Marines, British, and Indian figures, that I received the other day. K&C has out done themselves again, these items are why I keep collecting toy soldiers. I am wanting to expand my American Revolution sets by K&C, and I am hoping that those colonial militia, minuteman, and Hessians are on the way, and we really need some mounted figures and scenery for this line. Thanks K&C for another batch of quality figures. Mark McCallister

I agree, I hope the colonial militia, rag tag regulars, and Hessians are on the way. While the Marines are very nice, they are not your average American troops. They only fought with Washington’s Army twice, at Trenton against the Hessians and then later at Princeton.

What I would like to see is a nice selection of realistic American figures wearing worn uniforms or hunting shirts.

The new British figures are awesome!!!

Yes, I like the marines, but the colonial militia, would have been a better choice. I am hoping to see some American mounted dragoons with the blue coats and red facings, would love to see some troops in winter gear/scarves, and maybe a valley forge diorama, there is so much you could do with this line, so I hope it keeps expanding. I wouldn't mind seeing a Founding Fathers series too.

I've been waiting on the 2 new Redcoats, the charging and standing firing figures to finish off a 24 figure "unit" for my Wargames collection. Need 8 figures.Just back from a week long vacation to Disneyland and other attractions with the wife and kids. Wallets pretty shot up so it looks like I'll still be waiting a while yet!
I think I'll be passing on the Marines though nice as they are.

Militiamen and Hessians down the road? That would be great, as long as it's a bit further down the road!

I received my BR52 and BR53 from the Nevilles in K&C UK today. They're great, and I'd be happy to collect an entire series of the woodland Indians/Native Americans even if I never saw a militiaman or mounted dragoon. This series could eventually prove to be one of K&C's best.

I like that the new woodland Indians tell a story, when you look at them each one tells it's own story, these were a great idea.

Guys

The figure to have which stopped myself and Mike in our tarcks is BR51 Mounted Indian with Booty.

I have taken one for myself and it now is at home where i only have the WOW figures as i call them. We have also put one on centre stage in our show room.

Agree guys one range to look out for as it is getting larger and better.

I agree the new woodland Indian grouping tells a story, but the most important part is missing. Without the dead coatless American corpse laying on the ground the scene makes little sense.

I know what you mean Tony, I took my Father to the Valley Forge show today and I got him into K&C, he picked up BR51 and BR53. They both look excellent but BR51 really stands out, the detail is top quality. He made a small vignette with them already and I am totally impressed by how good the figures look, it almost makes me want to get a few myself.

The quality of these woodland indians is really exceptional. If you chart the improvement of K&C figures over the 22 years of Andy's stewardship, the curve is fast approaching the point where K&C's quality will soon match even that of the Russian figures. Andy has mentioned a couple of times that on K&C's 25th anniversary, he would like to readdress the Victorian Era Seaforths, Lancers, and Afghans that marked the beginning of K&C production, but with today's level of quality in sculpting and matt painting. Now that is something to look forward to!

The quality on these are truly tremendous. I wish I had the room (and money) to collect the Revolution.

I think Andy's 25th anniversary idea is tremendous. I, obviously, never had (and probably never will) have the chance to collect the old ones so I would love the chance to buy the new ones.

Well I sure am going to get some woodland Indians to go with my Rev. War stuff. The French Indian War and British in 1880's are also my favorite periods. I would love to see Andy do the Seaforths, Sudan, Egypt and Afganistan pieces. I have Andy's earlier figures in gloss but not all of them. Looking forward to that-2-3years away for 25th anniversary? Better start saving now.
