About US $3,300. Not a million, but a few bucks nonetheless.

Your probably right Brad, but I live in the UK so $3,300 odd dollars is only about 2,600 POUND.
STILL A LOT OF MONEY THOUGH!

Try to move in the K&C equivalent of a slingshot, ie in the way spacecraft use planetary gravitional forces for propulsion. Or perhaps look on it as a K&C Tarzan swinging from K&C vine to vine, eg. When you see a K&C Arnhem set don't say "ah I have that", if the price is right just take it and swap it for another.

For example, Erik Meijer is offering a 2nd series AN01 for $319. A bit pricey, but it is a 5 figure set and you're buying within the EU so no customs duties to worry about. If you were to swap it for other AN sets you may well get the equivalent of $500-$600 worth of 1st or 2nd series AN sets at the current inflated prices.

I had quite a variety of Arnhem up to a few years ago, selling/swapping from Set1 and AN01, through to AN08, AN14CD to AN16. It was always easier to try to swap with someone if you have something to swap, rather than having to wave the wallet all the time.

Just a $0.02 on the phenomenon.
