New Arrivals! (1 Viewer)

What was meant by Julie to be a “Good News, Guys” thread is turning depressing. I wonder whether Ken reads this.

Doubtful. Unless he's in invisible mode, he hasn't been on since April 2018.

Have you tried Britains-Soldiers.com? Their website still seems to be running and is showing the two "Gas" sets.

They are based in Hunstanton. They used to be in a model shop in the town centre but last time I visited them they were based in a – Camping shop {eek3}
The owner had let the model shop go but was running the Britains business from his camping shop.

Good people - I have bought from them. Couldn't tell you for sure they are still going but worth a try.

Roy

Fortunately managed to pick up both sets today at the show. Courtesy of Redcoat Models. Though was the last stock piece of both sets they had. As only half their order has been shipped.

For reference they have bought Bachmann's remaining WB stock. If anyone in the UK is after older club figures well worth giving them a call.

Julie is being proactive and positive in her original post, but TFrog is read by a worldwide audience. I think the situation with Britains and lack of promised sets is frustrating for all when we are all in the same situation, but when in one place they are receiving sets and in others such as the UK are not, the frustration multiples as it is not all that has access, this has turned the thread. In the UK we have a particular relationship with Britains due to company history and for it not to be available in the UK is frustrating and comes out in the threads. We thank people for highlighting where they think Britains is available, but the real situation/world is a lot different to the 'webworld', which I hope I showed in my previous thread opinions.

Ken is nowhere to be seen or heard and just a few words and explanation on the forum would go down well. at The London show yesterday we were told there will be a delivery soon and the 88mm is on its way, it is on a container, someone said we have been told that before and is the container on a row boat. Britains reputation is very poor in the UK and I do not know if it can be retrieved, I was at a dealer of another manufacturer and asked when a certain set would be released as it was a couple months late? Only to hear someone say maybe it is late because Britains are making it for them........ they have become a byword for not delivering.

I am actually not sure it is a UK specific problem, but fully understand that Britain has a special relationship with Britains.

Located in the US, I have not seen my preorder from two years ago filled. I had to move on.

And here is an actual post about "New Arrivals"! What this thread is for.

Still going as far as I'm aware, very good service.

I saw 13034 U.S. Marine with BAR, Korea, Winter 1950-1951 at Sierra this weekend.

It is incredible, especially the BAR detail.

I thought WB was basically out of business.....No releases for such a long time ^&confuse
