New "Classics" are shown now (1 Viewer)

Congrats Britains, I believe Britains is now setting the standards for modern gloss figures, and boy, am I getting addicted to this new gloss... Great to have some new gloss figures instead of always having to chase the oldies:D. The Sudan camel corps figure is an absolute must, also love the other Sudan figure. With great FIW releases also coming up, I could see myself a faithful Classics follower for a long long time:p . Keep up the excellent work!

I only want to second Viriato's post.
Phantastic new releases and I very much appreciate that the scale of upcoming glossy figures gets adjusted to the "Classics" style.
Thanks a lot to the whole Britains team !!!

Here is a comparison of the new Classic Gloss Redcoat 1815 figure and the two ancestors that I used for size and proportions. I thought some of you might be interested to see them side by side.

Hi Ken,

Great looking comparison!

I am very very pleased with the Camel Corps Trooper and hope there will be some spin offs of this line. I know I would really like to see some more Sudan sets and of course some Dervishes and Fuzzy's.

Thanks for the great work

All the best

Dave

Hi There!
We are pleased with the Camel Corps trooper too and plan on adding more to this period. We usually have lists of new subjects that are much larger than we ever could, or should, develop for any one collection release. This often ends in a couple of hard days deciding what is on for the moment...and what gets cut. In the end the things that get cut usually show up on the next list!

At the rate of request Ken it looks like it'll be 2010 or later for the next batch of Zulu War figures:(:(:(:(:(

That is King Charles the III (He was King during the FIW) and commisioned the Gold State Coach (which is still in use) for the victory :)

I think it's George the 2nd who was King during the FIW, if you're talking about England. But the man in the picture looks to be more from the late 1700's by the uniform he wearing.

Sorry I meant George the III not Charles DOH !!!

Further to this :) was just doing a little googling :)

George II reigned until 1760 when he died suddenly, George III then became King. The photo I posted dates about 1800.

By the way, His Majesty King George III birthday is coming up in a few days... after all he was our last King.

So Joe, you really did mean 2008 right?
You really don't want me to hold these new scuplts I have finished for another two years do you?
Look for more action at the barricade...
All the Best,
Ken

Just checking to insure we'll see them shortly after the first of the year. With all that been requested from ya'll to provide from all periods it look like we were looking at 2010. Nice knowing I was wrong Ken:D:D:D:D:D
