Hi all, I am a new collector, saw the WWI minatures and got some for Xmas. Anyway I've been lurking in the forums for awhile now...about how often does K&C release more for any given set? For example a few months ago the Uhlans came out for the WWI set and nothing more recently, approximately how many releases of new WWI stuff can I expect to see in a given year?

BTW working on a WWI diorama, didn't like the British/Scots, hoping to see some French to fill the other side against the Germans. Wouldn't mind seeing some Turks, Austrians and Russians someday too.

Strickly a guess on my part, but I wouldn,t expect anymore WW1 this year, unless it is December.
The only half way sure sign of a specific release is Oct, Nov. Battle of the Bulge figures. Other than that, whatever suits Andy,s fancy.
As I am a collector of almost everything except Crusades and Napolianics, my basket is always full.

Well welcome to the forum. Most start out in one area, but usually end up collecting other eras. You'll probably find a lot that interests you.

Welcome to the forum! The WWI figures are superb - I haven't purchased any yet since I've dipped my toes in so many lines already - the Uhlans are pulling hard, though.

You'll find a great bunch of folks on the forum so I am sure you will enjoy yourself. One bit of advice, read every post with a sense of humor - we're a mixed bag of nationalities here and levity is almost always the intent though it may be lost in translation. :D

Welcome aboard. We're a good bunch of guys, a bit nutty and opinionated, but a lot of fun . . .

Welcome to the forum. I have found a lot of people here who have helped answer my questions. I am sure they will help you.

The WW1 soldiers are very nice but remember the Napoleonics is were it is at.

Welcome aboard! The WW I range is fairly new So I wouldn't expect anything else till later in the year but you never know.:) WWII is pretty much the flagship range of K&C but many of their other lines have really taken off lately so here's hoping the WW I range will be a hit!

Ah, Your First Thread, I Remember Mine Like It Was Yesterday,oh Yea It Was Only A Few Months Ago!! Glad To Hear That You Are On Our Team, Full Of Good Info,some Good Joking Around, And A Little Drama Every Now And Then Just To Keep Things Real,welcome Again...sammy

Bit nutty and opinionated..?? Well in my opinion that's a pretty opinionated thing to say - my fellow Flashy fan.

Yeah, but do remember that when I'm working I go through long time periods of not much to do, cos all the equipment I'm responsible for is just chugging along. And if something does go wrong, then it doesn't take that long to fix it and get systems working again.
So, unlike most people I've got time to dream up what I'm going to get next for our collection - months in advance in most cases - and I also have lots of time to interface with the 99.9% people on here that I want to.
Now when I'm home, it's a different story and time spent on here is at a premium. That's why Missus Heid gets sent out on her seemingly endless shopping expeditions so often...:D:D

Aye, I distinctly remember the day she slinked up beside me on the sofa and murmured soooooooo softly and seductively in my ear;
"You know Hally-Daahleeng, I've found a website I think you might like. I think it's called the Treefrog Forum - or sometheeng"......

Wait a minute.......Uuuuuhhhhhh........DOH..!!
:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:.....:mad::mad:

LOL (maybe).

Yeah, sorry about that nordiskanc, I got sidetracked again. A big welcome to the forum. It's pretty much as Louis described. A lot of fun while being very informative.
I also like the WWI figures but I'm waiting for K&C to get to the middle east conflict before I dip my toes into this range. Now having said that, I do really like those Uhulans.

Welcome and good morning from Wisconsin. Hey, just out of curiosity have you joined the K&C collector club yet? I know there is at least one WWI figure available there. I just finally joined myself...needed the Flashman.

yes I joined the collectors club. I actually chose Murat as my figure. I'm working on a WWI combat diorama and the marching German didn't really fit in;)

Uh-huh, you chose a Napoleonic figure, well....while you are waiting for more reinforcements for your WWI diorama, there are always more Naps to consider. ;)

Welcome along, mate!

You're sure to enjoy the forum - you really would have to go far to find a friendlier or more knowledgeable bunch of guys than some of the stalwarts on here. Enjoy it, looking forward to talking to you properly soon!

Cheers,

Molloy.

Yes welcome on board.This is a great forum for learning,sharing your hobby and just having a laugh.Hope you have fun:)

I saw the ONTC WWI tanks recently and this KC line will really take off once we start getting some WWI vehicles. The plan seems to be to start off with 1914 and go forward - so the best is yet to come.
