New Crimea stuff on K&C UK (1 Viewer)

hi guys

Glad you like the new guys took some planning with Andy as we did not want to take away from the current line in the range.

Nolan was a bit of a customer pressure one!! as you guys mention he was not at the guns..........as i have depicted with the current charge guys but was a big demand from those who collect. we have designed him to be a stand alone item as well.

I like the loading guy as i feel he will break up the line and make it look more real.

Wait until you see the flag guy close up his painting is amazing!!

Sorry jeff and every one else on the price!!! the price of design, box's and figures all jumped up and when we paid for the entire run we did not get a great UKP Vs HKD rate!! i can assure you that we tried our best with the price. infact just the pricing of the figures took us a three hour meeting at K&C UK.

Mike was supposed to have flown out to HK to meet with Andy yesterday but is grounded due to a 'little bit of dust; ha ha. Joking aside he had the design concepts from me for the december additions

More TRL such as one standing to repel but with a bandaged Head.

Anything on either CoLB or TRL will be good though.

Speaking of outnumbered, what's the chance of new Russian Cavalry to attack the Thin Red Line? There are only two mounted figures and I'd love to see more.

Thanks Tony - the Nolan mounted figure looks excellent and will be coming my way upon release. Can anyone comment on the colour of the pillbox cap though - I always thought it was blue / gold? This is according to Mollo's 'Uniforms of the Light Brigade', not Tony Richardson's film which, whilst very good, was all over the place in terms of creative license for uniforms! Thanks. Jameson

I hope that Mike and Tony also return to the Lancers at the Charge at some point,they are in my view some of the best mounted figures ever made by K&C.

Unfortunatly there has not been a great responce to the guys we have done so a little commercially scared to commit to more as the cost is high on a mounted figure we have to try and ensure it will sell. We are even scared off of doing the famous fallen gray.
