New Crusader on horseback (1 Viewer)

I just got some of the new crusader pieces. and i was wondering, does the new crusader mk066 horse look to be alot smaller than the other horses in prior releases? or do you guys think maybe the crusader is riding arabian horse? which is much smaller than other horses.

The MK066 horse is definately not an Arabian horse. Look at the configuration and all of the hair around the hoofs. I believe it is supposed to be a big workhorse, possibly a Pershiron or Clydesdale type, which should be even larger than most of the other horses in the series. I'm not sure what kind of large horses the knights had back in the days of the crusades. I plan to get all of the new crusades pieces, so now I'm curious about your comment regarding the size of that horse. MK066 looks like a very nice piece, so I hope the horses size isn't too much of an issue. Congratulations on your new crusader pieces. I'm anxious to get the first few for myself. George

I gotta agree....this horse looks huge to me....not small at all.

yes, in the pictures the horse looks very large but, when i put it next to all my other crusader horses it is much smaller. it's like a mini clydesdale horse. i wonder if anybody else feels the same way, as i do? it is still a very nice piece.

That is interesting. It doesn't seem that way in this TF photo but the perspective makes it difficult to be sure.
