JG Miniatures will soon be making some walls to fit in nicely with the K&C Crusader series. I believe every section will be $125 each.

Here's the word from John Gittens:
"These peices represent the type of City fortifications built in the Middle East and Asia Minor in Ancient tmes.
They would suit Scenarios such as the Seige of Acre by the Crusaders, the attack on Jerusalem by the Romans and the Siege of Troy.
A Gate section is also planned, (anyone producing a Trojan Horse?)

The two Towers are 14" high x 5.75" square and the wall measures 11.75" x 10.5" x 3.5" deep , all pieces are fully 3 dimensional and are not facades. The wall section has ruined battlements onto which the K + C seige tower fits and the Tower windows are at a suitable height to accomodate the K + C Siege ladders.

These items are currently in production and will be launched at the London Toy Soldier Show on Sat 31st March.

Hey now, this is exactly what I've been looking for to set my saracens and crusaders up with. I hope we get more figures this year as well.
Can't wait to hear reviews of folks who see these in London.

Very nice, its enough to make you want to start collecting crusaders!.Will check these out in London.

Yes those are very nice but does anyone know if K&C would be producing a similar product because if they do I will most likely wait for that.

K&C made casts from the Saracen Castle in my collection (the one Gordon built for last year's Chicago Show). They are in the process of finding a factory in China which can both accurately reproduce the look and feel of Gordon's diorama, and do it in a material that is both light and sturdy enough to ship safely and affordably. This will undoubtedly take some time, and in the mean time, a few of these pieces would fill the bill nicely (although they will probably be a bit expensive when you figure out how many it would take to produce a decent sized 3-D castle for display).

These are great looking. We're very lucky to have such variety of high quality Toy Soldiers and diorama products to choose from.

JGM and Build-A-RAMA have consistently been innovative, produce quality products and maintain a large variety of items to chose from; kudos to them.

Does anyone know what these castle walls are made from? I'm wondering about weight.

Hi Carlos,
I checked with John at JG Miniatures and here is the answer to your question:

Glad you like the new pieces, they are a mixture of timber and resin construction the tower weighs just over 1 Kilo and the wall a little less much lighter than polystone, favoured by other companies.

Regards.

Hi Ron,
They will be on our website available for preorder just as soon as someone here gets them on. Everyone (including me) called in sick today and not everyone works tomorrow so we will get them on asap.
Meanwhile the release date is expected to be the end of month.

I see I'm accidently posting under Pete's name--he told me he'll get them on tomorrow.

They look stunning!

Regards,
Shannon

Guys

When these get into Treefrog make sure you get them quick they are another JG hot cake.

We have them here and they are great just finished a photo shoot with the entire collection of MK's on a diorama and fort awesome. They will be at London in two weeks both on our stand and Johns.

You have a Wall section 90 degree corner section and a Middle tower section.

Weight wise not bad as well.

Tony

Please see a pic of the walls together in K&C UK warehouse ready for the NEC show this weekend and the photo shoot for the website.
