New crusaders Figure (1 Viewer)

Yeah Mike it looks like the top of a Roman officers helmet but way too outlandish in color.

Honestly....

and not to offend anyone...

I think I would like him a whole lot more if they had left off the ornate red and white trim on his helmet...that's what bugs me the most...

that just seems a little too much for me...

Mike a bit of paint could cure that. Or the prodigous use of an exacto balde perhaps?:eek::eek:

Honestly Michael...
tell the truth...

that head dress might be a little too much...
isn't it...
now don't get me wrong...
I'll probably buy it...:p

but you're right...
repaint it...
grind it off..
.that would cure the problem...
I'm just such of a purist on manufacturer's figures...
I never change them...

I like the way you think ;)
While I don't have the guts to do it, I might ask you to have a go with your exacto blade idea on a figure for me. Get rid of the crest and do the necessary repaint on the helmet. That would make a real Sir Archibald Douglas figure and I am not going to display him in a Crusade scene but in a little vignette with a man-at-arms at this side.
How about it, KV?
