New Crusaders from First Legion! (2 Viewers)

Look at these eyes!

But with these eyes - until further - i´ll keep my money!

I would even be afraid passing them in my cabinet! :D

Sorry... but I'm afraid you don't know what you're missing;)....These Crusaders are Great:)...I purchased 4 of them....And have ordered some more:)....they are simply the best Crusader Release out there.....Guys NO PROBLEM HERE....These figures will not dissappoint..Amazing detail, paint and sculpts.....they almost look alive in their poses......No Kidding......What a product...Fantastic

I saw these for a close up inspection on Saturday and was very disappointed, disappointed I couldn't afford them! (admit it guys,I got you there;)) They look superb figures to me, with a gritty, dark reality to them ( get me,I've gone all descriptive!:D). Very nice work indeed Matt, hope you guys don't mind me popping over here to say that, I guess its a bit like having a Wolf in your back yard!:D

All the best

Rob

I'm a happy owner of several FL Crusaders with more ordered. I think I posted back when my first few arrived that I thought the spear holding templer had that 'walking dead' look...but heck, after a rich full day of stabbing, slashing and hacking on people, I figure I'd look a bit freaked out myself...
I'm in for more FL figs. Keep 'em coming !

i think by this point it is well established that in order to not mislead his customers, matt takes photos of the worst production samples that did not pass his quality control and posts them on the website for order. Just remember what Frank did with the Stalingrad building!

I am therefore asking that we get some more realistic photos from collectors who actually have these figures in hand. Please.

Yes I'd like to see them too. From what I've seen the figures are great but got to admit the eyes on the post below do have an odd look to them.Maybe it's the way the picture was taken.A lot of us have said that the pictures a lot of times don't do the figure justice.

Dear Friends!

Yes, i´m serious!

Look at these eyes!

OK - they might be great "live" - i don´t know. If they are - i think the pics should have been changed.

But with these eyes - until further - i´ll keep my money!

I would even be afraid passing them in my cabinet! :D

I you like them - well, that´s great. Pls. buy all you want and be happy with them! I might even buy one with a helmet or eyes closed! ;)

Enjoy! :)

With all due respects my friend , I think your suffering from a severe case of Crusader envy
There is only one sure fire cure , actually buy a First Legion crusader.. even one of the ones you think is too scary . Then put it next to what you currently have in your collection , I think you may have a change of Heart ;)

Rob, Good to see you on this side of the forum...These are great figures....I have been able to afford these by cutting back on my purchases from "other" manufacturers;)....The increased cost is more then offset by the "better quality" and realism of First Legion....definitely a better buy in my book....It's a question of quality over quantity....Best Frank

The templar,

From what I understand, you don't own any FL crusaders. So in order for everyone to be happy, we need some pictures posted by actual owners of these figures.

From what I can see on FL website, most of the guys look great, well worth buying.

Being a owner of more than a hundred FL figures, I can tell you that FL figures are very consistant from a range to another one and from a figure to another one within a particular range. Even though I'm extremely happy with every FL figure I have bought, I sure do have my favorites.. Some that look even better than the others : Colbert, the Samurai archer, Lord Uxbridge and every french old guard figure just to name a few. I mean those are unbelievable for the money you pay.

Cheers,

Alex

Frank,
I've done the same thing ...something had to 'give' to fund FL figs and now (God help me), I'm looking real hard at the winter Panzer III and trying to save for the arty piece. I'm sold on FL quality and detail.

Mike, I also am looking seriously at the Winter Panzer III.:)......It is my understanding from Matt that a DAK PanzerIII will very soon be available....That will make the AK Collectors very happy.....First Legion.... BEST BUY FOR THE MONEY.....no question about that....."Quality over Quantity" is better.....Best Regards Frank

LOL-I'm in a 'quandry'...I want the Pzr III, but also want to add more FL Crusaders. Something's got to give in the short term-don't think I can do both during the Holiday season (my wife doesn't give toy soldiers for Xmas-but is very gracious about my collecting-bless her heart !).

If you didn't live in Canada I'd ship mine up to you so you could take some good pictures :) When I retire I'm gonna take a photography class , Then I'm gonna give you guys a run for your money :D Of course I'll still have to pay someone with talent to build me a nice Diorama to display my figures on .. All the best Rod

I will go pick it up for you...
I am still learning how to photograph Toy soldier, and I realized that I have to buy some kind of spot-light and background colour papers....
Gebhard

I will send an e-mail to you tonight

Regards

Ah yes, the choices here can be daunting but I suppose that is all part of the fun. What fun would it be if we could all have all we wanted of these; well fun for Matt I guess.:p:D:D

I agree. Half the fun is performing 'toy soldier budget triage'...trying to separate the 'gotta haves' from the 'nice to haves'. FL has ended up with a good bit of my 'gotta have' budget.
