Just seen a tv ad for a new Del Prado collection 'cavalry through the ages' looks good, only got a brief glimpse but there looked to be a very good WW2German soldier on Horseback.

It's not too often you see stuff advertised on TV anymore before it gets leaked to the net. Do you guys get a lot of toy soldier ads in the U.K.?

Not so much toy soldiers as such, but often these magazines (such as this Del prado one)that come with a figure.

Hi Rob.

There has been a bit of a discussion on this on one of the other threads. I picked up the first figure for the £2.99, they seem to be slightly smaller than the previous released ranges. I first thought that the WW2 German might fit in with the K&C but I'm not so sure now. But for the price this figures are well worth the money.

Hi Jeff,

Sorry i must have missed that other thread. They look quite good but i'm giving them a miss as funds are stretched enough as it is!

Looked on ebay to try to find a picture.
Anyone got a list of what will be issued, or a site to find pictures.

Cavalry through the ages would be a cool collection.

I have a full collection of the WWII portion of their earlier "Men at War" figures - some are great and some are not so good figures.

It's not Del Prado, but I recently started collecting a series of 1/43 scale James Bond cars with a magazine, not bad detail for about US $15 for car, diorama and mag. I think I'm a compulsive collector - maybe I feel I'm missing out on something
