New Dispatchs look great!!!!!! (1 Viewer)

My take on the new "German Pooping Issue"

I agree with Louis - this is Andy's humor at its quarky best

I mean think about it - who else would produce such a figure in the entire Toy Soldier World. Now - I am not sure if I would pay $100 to have a German SS Soldier Poop in my Diorama or Curio Cabinet - but, you have to hand it to Andy - its an attention grabber

In the coming days I am sure we will be plastered by the Anti-Andy forces (which Brad is not) over this one - so before we have to bear that ugly display - can't we just laugh at this unusal take on WWII :p

As someone who doesn't particularly want to buy more axis troops, I will be buying the excellent half track - well done Andy and the team, a masterpiece I think.

Kevin,

I am on board with you and Rob . . . I want to see some Commonwealth forces, particularly armor, for the Normandy and Market Garden campaigns. I have little room available for more Axis stuff. It has been done to death. That being said the little 250 Halftrack is a must.

But Louis, are there enough 'great minds that think alike' to make them sell?

This half track looks an unreserved beaut though

And when you see the quality of the new Crusader Andy has just released its exciting to think of what he may come up with from the realm of British armour.

Not sure if you're serious on this statement Ron. Are you implying that if you criticize or critique anything from K&C you are by extension "Anti-Andy"? If so then I most certainly must be labeled one of those fiendish devils...and to think I'm here right now amongst the true believers. Oh horrors :D:rolleyes:

I don't know . . . all I can say is I am about to the limit on Tigers and Shermans. I would love some Hobart's Funnies, maybe a Crocodile or, if it has to be a Sherman, a Firefly or a Calliope . . . at this point, I suspect Andy could make Ballerinas and they would sell. If he can sell a guy taking a dump, what can't he sell?:D:p;)

No - I am not saying that you can't critique K&C releases and give ones opinion. I myself - have talked about the size difference issue and few other items.

But, critique is one thing - being rude, arrogant and unpleasant towards Andy and K&C in general is another. This is what we have seen unfortunately, from a few.

I do believe that King & Country is the best Toy Soldier Maker in the World - thats MHO. But, even I have some issues with some releases - gasp ! - yes, CAPITOLRON said that. However, over the long haul - you can't find better figures in the TOY SOLDIER WORLD than what K&C is producing today - again IMHO. I personally stand strong for the King & Country.

Louis, you have a way with words:eek:........I don't recall the battle of the dump however, how did they take it - commandos?;):D

I wondered if someone would do a churchill with the trimmings, (plus or minus ballerina) crocodile, petard, 95mmm gun etc, but the Firefly is surely the outstanding one - and a Cromwell and a .....................

I have no problem with the "pooping" German other than now a certain board member will want "pooping" Italians in the desert or another member will want Napolean "pooping".
This line could really turn to s***!
