New Dispatchs look great!!!!!! (1 Viewer)

Theres already some mystery to the Sd.kfz. What does the third figure look like?

Glad I was still up to catch tonites releases, I really like the halftrack as well as the machine gun team and flamthrower, but might have to pass on the german taking a poo, but that's about as original as you can get, and I'm sure in a couple years that german will be worth hundreds!!...Sammy

agree think the flamethrower is a great addition:cool:, half-track is nice as well, and the rest of the german troops..schwimwagon is a hoot...vehicles and figures seem to be climbing in price:(

Like the Half track, you can see the drivers head in the pictures of the back of the half-track, all the other figures are ok, but they all look like they're in basically the same positions, and the poo figure is a bit creepy lol:eek::confused::(:eek::eek::p:eek::D:confused:

The Schwinwagen is nice for those who missed the FJ version a few years back as is the 250 but I do find the figure of questionable taste and don't really see the point. Again, no Commonwealth troops. Pity.

I know:eek:Where are the British:eek:or even Polsh, Canadian, or even American for that matter, it seems all the recent Dispatches have been Germans, maybe Andy is forgetting that they lost the war;);):pK.o. Andy;) after looking at the pooing figure for a while, it kind of grows on you and you begin to imagine where you could put it in a diorama, like a French Resistance figurecoming up behind him, huh?, huh?:confused::D

:D:D:D:D

That last post sounded so wrong:eek::eek:I shall refraise my initial point about the German soldier, by saying if you analyse the figures for a while, like the poses, and the colours, you can see the set fitting into a nice quiet scene like with the Captured Russian tank and Tank Crew sitting on a roadside and infront of them this little Schwimmwagen and off to one side a small clump of bushes and maybe a tree, with the German doing his business:D

Wow!.Loving all the new German stuff, that 250 is a must have likewise the Flamethrower. Will definitley get the schwimm as i missed out on this before.A lot of WW2 retirements though, fast becoming pick and choose time guys!.

Thanks for a great dispatches Andy.Look likes things are going to get hot for my Arnhem Paras!!

The half track is great and a definite must buy. The schwimmwagen is a definite must miss. I know I might be accused of lacking a sense of humour or something or not appreciating K&C's quirky sculpts but this is not to my taste at all.

I am very excited about the lines chosen to be featured this month but not always the execution. Here's my thoughts:

-SS is one of my favourite lines so...
-The best is the 250 halftrack. I will probably get that, it looks very nicely done at first glace.
-More SS infantry are welcome BUT:
-The sniper rifle in WS 122 repeats the exact same error that Oz identified years ago in WS049: the scope on the G-43 rifle is placed way too far forward. Bolt action Kar-98s had little scopes near the front like that but not semi-automatic G-43s. Also, the poses in this set are kind of stilted.
-WS 123 is pretty neat
-WS124 flamethrower - a much requested set, including by myself. SS flamethrowers are HOT. But unfortunately it looks like K&C kinda messed up the German flamethrower design. Of the two main models used in the war, one had a single vertical tank and the other had two horizontal tanks, one on top of the other. From the picture it looks like K&C made one with two vertical side-by-side tanks which if it did exist was a field made job or the Fm.W.41 worn incorrectly. PLEASE K&C, it's not that hard, do your research, you could have gotten a nice book on the subject for only $10 right here: http://www.schifferbooks.com/newschiffer/book_template.php?isbn=0764302647
I hope Honour Bound's upcoming flamethrower is more accurate.

-Crusaders, another of my favourite lines.
-These look very nicely done, especially the mounted MK054, yet I'm not interested in them as none of these new figures are warrior monk orders (Templars, Hospitallers, Teutonic Knights). Also, I was hoping for some more casual non-action poses that would work on my Conte medieval ship.
-In terms of the saracen horse archers, good to see Andy followed my advice:

As for the "taking a dump" figure, what can I say - he's certainly unique. :D

The new ss troops remind me a bit of some of the fall of berlin germans, certainly look good, the cammo job on the half track looks like a new style for K&C..like it:cool:

I am very happy on this month release with the half track + WSS and the Crusaders....:):D

Excellent choice K&C....

Yes some of those Crusaders look great,if only i had more cash!

I don't think it's too funny and I think it's in extremely poor taste. Any threads, such as the one I just deleted, will be dealt with in the same way.

This is a forum that kids also visit and we do have several teenagers on here. Although I can't change what Andy has done, we don't need to propagate it here however.
