New Figarti At London (2 Viewers)

Bergepanzer looks nice. Is the difference between a Bergepanzer and Bergepanther the chassis?

That's the main difference aside from the layout, cranes, etc. and of course the Bergepanther was bigger and more powerful.

Do you plan to get it? If so, I'd be interested to hear when you get it of your evaluation of the Figarti vs. the HB.

Don't know if I will get this one. There are other Figarti pieces I want more. From the photo, the Figarti looks more detailed in the wheels and tracks. It's difficult to compare my autumn 3 colour camo HB Bergepanther to the winter finish Figarti.

That Bergepanther IV is freakin' awesome!!:cool::cool::cool: I will definitely be getting it and the German gun.

Yes, I e-mailed Clive and he confirmed that the LCT at the show had British markings and a British crew (perhaps the inspiration for the Figarti show figure).

Clive mentioned to me it was a one off piece with british crew produced by Figarti for him. It looked very impressive with all the d-day vehicles on board:cool:

Good to see you Saturday mate, how cool was the Figarti landing craft in Brit colours, didn't realise how many vehicles you could fit on it!.

It was an awesome piece - if only I had the money it would be the absolute centerpiece of my collection. I think you could retire from collecting after getting that one and the tanks coming off it! :)

Absolutely, easily the best shock and awe piece Figarti have made, how will they top that in 2010?!.

Hi Terry did anyone get a release date for the rest of us?

Wayne

No one mentioned release dates to me, but they were rough prototypes in Chicago and they appear to be finished models in London. Grey Goose Collectables has them on their site available to be ordered. So I would expect them January/February - but that is just my guess. And Grey Goose seems to get them first because he flies them in.

Where do Aussies buy Figarti from?

Terry

Guys,
Still recovering from the show, absolutely exhausted.
It was great meeting with all the treefroggers although we were too busy for me to join in the drinks.( I did however, make up for that in the evening...thirsty work you know)

Just to help a little on some questions.
The LCT in British colours alongwith R.N. crew will be available to order I'm sure, we just thought it worth showing this version in London.
Sue ( Mrs Grey Goose) kindly allowed me to use the dining room table to set up the practice display so that we knew where everything would go.
I'll see if my photos add anything to Rob and Jeff's.

The new winter sets: Bergepanzer IV, 10.5cm Kanone & crew and the Recce set were so new that Peter Wang brought them over in his suitcase (alongwith the prototype Sherman Crab.)
We had a few for sale at the show but full production is now underway and I would think Terry is about right on the time scale, given the sea vs airfreight timings.

I really can't wait to see the production version of the Crab in its livery.
All 60 of the chains are in metal with the weighted end as per the original.
They're all attached by hand and it's quite a weighty (and robust) piece.

Regards
Clive

Clive:

Can you do a side by side photo of the M3A1 and The British GMC 75mm Half-track?

Thanks
