New figures in Redcoat range? (1 Viewer)

thanks for sharing the pictures Mark the figures look great!!! so is figure 44035 only going to be available if you buy a ticket to the US event? if you dont turn up do you still receive the figure through the post?

cheers Craig.

Craig it appears as though that figure is available to buy on the WBCC website.

Hi All!
I thought I should give you an additional 'heads up' on the Coldstream Guards full dress 1815 figures.
Following the London December event 3 figure set 'Ready for Duty' was a drummer and the following year a fifer.
In order to build a nice vignette we have added a few additional figures!

As Mark has shown, this year we have the Drum Major for the London event, and for the Williamsburg Va. event the Regimental Colour ( the Grand Union in the Guards).
To round things out, there will also be an exclusive companion Ensign of the King's Colour to be announced shortly, and a Guardsman in bearskin at attention in the regular Fall catalog Redcoats series.
You will see images of these other figures in a few more weeks, although they were all done at the same time.
These are some of my favorite Redcoats and I hope to acquire a number of the ORs at attention for my collection.
All the Best!

Hi Randy,

This is one of my personal favourites of the 93rd Highlanders.

I have 2 of these figures purchased on eBay in the last 2 years.

It does appear every now and then on eBay.

However, the opening bid price / Buy It Now price has been steadily going up.

I shall send you a PM when I next see one on eBay.

Best, Raymond.

:)

Raymond,
How's my little buddy doing?;)
That's a great club figure, I just did NOT want another can of worms opened at the Brady household with a Crimean range!

Hi guys

Seems like since I was on here yesterday the questions concerning the figures have been answered nicely by Ken. Just to clarify 44035 Ensign is the US event figure 300 are being made (1 to go with each ticket), the same as the London event you buy a ticket and you get the figure (whether you go to the event or not). The Drum Major is the 2009 UK event figure but I'm afraid all 400 tickets for that event are already gone. The Highlander is a straightforward 350 piece Club special. Both the Ensign (or rather tickets for the US event) and the Highlander are in the WBCC website online shop for any of you that want to order them.

Any other questions about Club stuff just let me know.

Cheers
Mark:)

After having gone through the same exercise with the 1st Foot Guards (1755), I was wondering how a regiment in 1815 was organised. I was of course wondering how the figures wearing a hat (#44013 Drummer and #43010 Private) who I suppose are part of the Battalion Companies, relate to the figures wearing the bearskin (the Club Exclusive Ensign, #44035 and the anounced Guardsman in bearskin).

also i was wondering how come figure 43010 private battalion companys 2nd coldstream guards is wearing grey trousers while all the other coldstream guards figures are wearing white?

Im planning on making a display with my 1815 coldstream guards band as the centerpiece,
So far ive got sets:

43103, 43104, 43105 & 43158 - band of the coldstream regiment of foot guards.
43154 - coldstream regiment of foot guards colour party.
43155 - coldstream regiment of foot guards enlisted men.
48002 - coldstream regiment of foot guards enlisted men slope arms.
48003 - coldstream regiment of foot guards NCO's with pike.
43010 - private battalion companys 2nd coldstream regiment of foot guards.
43057 - ready for duty.
43014 - grenadier drummer coldstream regiment of foot guards.
44009 - grenadier fifer coldstream regiment of foot guards.

& on order i have sets:

44013 - drummer coldstream regiment of foot guards.
44028 - drum major coldstream regiment of foot guards.
44035 - ensign kings colour coldstream regiment of foot guards.

is that all the sets released so far for the napoleonic coldstream guards line or have i missed some?

Cheers Craig.
