Here are a couple of pics of my latest building before painting. I've been working on this in between tank repaints.

Alex, that's a nice start.

I have never finished a foam wall building.

What type of glue do you use?

What do you use to finish off the exterior wall corner gaps in the foam?

Where did you get the roof and noticing it was taped on, is that permanent or do you adhere it a different way?

Thanks,

Michael

Beautiful work-sure could have used your skills when I had the builders in constructing my Alamo set-up;)

I use hot glue but on the small pieces I'll use white glue.

If the cut is very clean I don't use anything the paint will take care of it but sometimes I'll use some spackle.

The roof is doll house roofing and I taped it on to see how it looks because I want to paint the roof separate before I glue it on.

Thanks guys I'll be posting pics of the building fully painted. I just didn't have time to take pictures yet. I still need to work on the sidewalk and street.

Thanks for the tips Alex.

I have some stryoprene left over in the garage.

I think I'll give it a try.

Your work is going to look great,

Michael

Nice Alex, your lines are very net, no mistake. Are you using simply an exactor-knife or something else?

Rod.

Geez Alex its really not up to your usual quality.......I mean a pink building,

with a roof installed with tape?

Actually your talent is remarkable, I thought that church you did for the

show in Chicago was outstanding!

Anytime would be right for a couple more shots of your workshop/den so

we could get another look of where you work your magic from!

Can't wait to see the finished product!

I'm planning to do a building myself I just have to finish off the 2000 ice pops

I bought to get the sticks!:D

Great building Alex! Like others, look forward to seeing it once you've sprinkled your paint on it.

What material have you used for the roller shutter? Looks very effective.

Its plastic styrene that has grooves on it. I saw it a hobby store and said I know what I'm going to use this for.:)

Here are some pics of the building painted. I still need some details and rubble.

This isn't the sidewalk and street that I'm going to use. I just put this in to get a good idea how it might look.

Alex,

The paint job is fantastic.

Amazing!!!

Your piece turned out really beautiful.

What did you use for the galss in the windows and for the doorknob?

When you get tired of it, send it to me, I'll take good care of it.
