:) The NEW FOB Bedford Truck (0YD), is fine except, it doesn't have the ( Mickey Mouse ) Camo Design's? Also, for the 8th Army a Open with Top Canopy (QLD) Bedford Truck, for the British Troops , so they could see out, and still have protection from the Desert Sun! CIAO!

Does the top come off like the Opel Blitz lorry I wonder?
It's quite a bit more expensive than the Opel Blitz too. Is the Bedford lorry larger than it's German counterpart?

Perhaps the top comes off like the German counterpart and maybe like the German counterpart maybe we'll get seated British troops. I'm also sure we'll get Desert Bedford.

And if you have a British desert Bedford, then you have a German desert Bedford since the Afrika Korps ran a lot of captured trucks, repainted or not.

This is a good point, Opel is $79. Bedford Lorry is $129, that is a huge jump.

This is only discussion, not complaining, but I do find that very interesting.

I'll bet the conopy doesn't come off due to the rope tie down arrangement on the outside of the bed.

 Ron , I do happen to appreciate this FOB British Truck; but when it comes down to History you MUST do the right thing! ALL, British WW2 in Europe has the (Mickey Mouse) Markings, on Their Vehicle's! CIAO!

Hadn't realized it was so expensive, wow!, but I guess it's comparable to the EA Ambulance. I will, in all likelihood, wait until the EA version comes out.

John, you are totally incorrect. This is an early war (Dunkirk) vehicle, the Mickey Mouse Camo scheme was not introduced until 1944.

Louis, you beat me to it on this one; as Louis correctly states John, the "Mickey Mouse" pattern was not in use until 1944.

If you're going to complain, at least get your facts strait.

At some point your complaints get you to a place where you get embarrassed  - Hopefully, this will be a lesson for you.

As our friends from the other side of the pond like to say "Not bloody likely!"......................

Does the tarp come off?
Hesitating, hesitating...I was hoping it was the classic AC Matador!

:) According to Mr.Winsley's , showing the different Camouflage Pattern's on Canadian and British Vehicle's prior to 1941; then I should be Correct on my Opinion's? Yes/NO?

K&C and other companies that produce toy soldiers in China and price their sets in U.S. dollars have lost 10% just from the depreciation of the U.S. Dollar vs. the Chinese Yuan over the last ten months and close to 20% over the last 2 years.:( In addition to the losses from currency depreciation, the huge increases in the cost of packing foam (oil-based so almost tripled in price in last 8 months), metal alloy (30% or more depending on metal), and labor (basic labor cost plus higher cost of adding the details required by current collectors) has resulted in the prices increases. It is only going to get worst.:(

Well, I Guess not too long down the Road, my Toy Collecting will come to a Halt? I Hope to see my Italian WW2 Sets , along with MORE British Commonwealth Sets, before it goes down! Hurry Andy?::mad::(

Interesting that as fewer and fewer people can afford them the prices are going up. That goes not just for KC but just about every toy soldier company. I guess that is why I could never major in economics.
