New French Napoleonic Line Infantry (1 Viewer)

Brett

I am free every evening this year except June1!

I take it there is not option d - great idea, didn't think of it myself, but you can have the first set free?

Jack

Jack,
June 1 it is :D

Actually regarding option D the Prussians probably won't get that result. Try harder but you also have to keep it a secret until released {sm4}

In view of the number of ideas Andy must get from around the world picking an option D could be hard.
I think good ideas for unique individuals or poses more likely to get a result so start brainstorming with Larso now and you can split the item in two.

With Larso there is no storm - just a gentle, intermittent breeze!

I do remember an earlier post; Andy said, he never will do prussians. - That's (not only) is the reason for my interest in other companies doing (other) Napoleonics than 42. or 92. Regiment ...

He also said he would never do Italian tanks, would not do any more WWII Russians, Would not do Eastern Front and yet here they are. For Naps he won't do Prussians or Austrians.

Andy's definition of never seems to be much shorter than the standard length of never. ^&grin

Does anyone have any pics they can post to show the size differences?

Thanks

Gazza

Agreed a comparable pic would be helpful. I think the new FLI are very nice figures and I want to add them some of them to my modest NAP collection. I'm curious how "big" a difference in size there is. ^&confuse

I think Andy should consider doing a limited release Prussian Foot Soldier Line - like he did with the Experimental Napoleonic Mounted figures - if you remember he had several French figures, One Polish and One British General - they were limited edition and I believe they sold very well.

If K&C would do that with the Prussians - it would be an instant hit and he can gauge the market on the amount of requests for the figures after they are all sold.

Just a thought :)

While the difference is noticeable it is not ridiculous and they are very well sculpted and painted. If you are into American Football its like a linesman to a receiver. They are taller and thicker.
You can use them as a well fed and robust regiment with good genes.
They are much larger than WB and FL, however.

Oh....

Ok guys .. if you will bear with me. I have not posted photos on the forum for over a year. Please excuse the poor light and photography. My main purpose is to show that the new FLI is pretty compatible (sizewise)with the NE series .. and although the uniforms really dont match,
both are weathered and look pretty good together.

Here's a couple more shots showing FLI & NE size and look comparison ..

As previously mentioned .. my shelf display, has the FLI mixed in with the NE. I have the le Generaal and his worn troops resting and exploring an oasis amongst some local inhabitants from the LoJ series.

A relative "fresh" column of FLI has just arrived with sorely needed reinforcements and are being greeted by their comrades ... :p

Hope you like ...

Thanks for the pictures - they do look close in size. I hope they work out better with the other Napoleonics !
