I thought I would take a quick picture of the 88mm in our new Hobby Bunker Flak Bunker available for 30.00. Literally about 10 minutes later it was back out the door in a new happy home. I thought for once I would actually touch one!

12 were delivered to me at the show. I gave some to other dealers and took about 4 home. The bulk of the shipment of the them is due shortly. So fear not if you were on someones list you will still be getting them!

Matt:

Great looking Bunker, the possibilities with good paint and weathering are endless. I think you have a real winner with this one the Japanese Artillery position listed on another thread.

I can not hardly wait to get my 88. And now I know, where I am going to place it. thanks!!

What detail, it even has the concrete form marks on the top :cool:

Great looking bunker, but if its the correct scale, I can't see how you be able to manouver the 88mm gun into that gunpit.

The entrance isn't wide enough and you'd have to run it in with the wheels, and you wouldn't be able to get the wheels out. Then again if you have a big crane, you can drop it in....

Sorry to be so picky, but I have manhandled field artillery (scale 1:1) into gun pits, and thats no fun, so I'd hate to man hande an AA gun that size !!!!! :) :)

I thought of that, thats where I will get innovative, by knocking the back side off ;), and add rubble.

Obviously the gun was placed first and the bunker built around it. :D:D:D
Actually, I had the same thought, but the bunker's size is limited by cost and the space collectors have to display it. The bunker looks great, but using it with an 88 will require a slight suspension of reality as to how they got the gun in. The crane theory works for me.

These Bunkers were designed for permanent stationary guns. Know one makes stationary guns and these are just toys after all?

The Marx plastic 88 fits in here awesome
