Well this is my first attempt at a polythene type toy soldier.

I don't know too much about it but I think it was Italeri ( was given to me ) and is 32nd scale

It's certainly different to things I have tried before but I have to say I quite enjoyed it

Anyway here he is ...

Any suggestions on what to buy and try next ?

Well done indeed. If that's your first attempt - then keep on doing what you do. As to "any suggestions" - just go with what ever you fancy trying next, is my advice. If you like something "in the raw" - you are likely to enjoy painting it - and "bringing it to life". As you have tried a plastic first - why not try a metal figure next? As you are UK based - maybe a UK supplier of castings might be best. There are plenty of UK suppliers of castings out there who are online and easy to order from.

Best of luck with your new hobby - and don't forget to show us how you are getting on, from time to time. johnnybach.

Welcome Rob and very nicely done! Do I detect a wargames figure style of painting there?

What next I guess would depend on what eras you like.

Please post some more of your work as you go.

I agree a very good finish, what to do next? how about a mounted figure?

Look forward to seeing your next project.
