Some of these possibilities sound really interesting. I would not put any faith in the developement of a series based on the old TV show "Combat", with Bruce Willis playing Sgt. Saunders. That particular rumor/story has been kicking around for a least 15 years. This possibility is mentioned in the 1997 publication "Combat: A Viewer's Companion to the Classic TV Series" by Jo Davidsmeyer. This project for developement was passed from one studio to another and never went anywhere. Too bad, it could have been a good show. -- Al

Agreed, sadly several, if not many, of these likely have long odds and now Willis is a bit long in the tooth for that role in any event. Pity he did not do that rather than Hart's War.

I don't know how they will make a musical out of the Battle of Long Tan, but stranger movies have happened.

That's quite a list.Hopefully some will make it to the screen.

Agincourt after Cornwell's Novel sounds interesting to me.
I really enjoyed reading the book.
