Hi Guys,
And welcome to “Crawling Guy” and thanks for the suggestion – now I can’t promise “dessicated bodies” tomorrow but I genuinely do like the idea. So let’s just see…
Also thanks to Brad (Jazzeum) for digging up that old K&C brochure. Even head office does not have a copy of that one! I think it must date back to 1991/92 just after we had moved into our new store in Pacific Place.
Congratulations to Rick and Ken for the second half 2006 catalogue for Britains. Finally this most venerated and venerable name in the toy soldier world has got 2 guys running it who know the business and love the product. Lots of fresh and exciting ideas that are great for the hobby and Britain’s itself – well done!
Finally here’s a “sneak peek” at just one of our new Saracens that will be, I hope, on display in Chicago at the OTSN show – hope you like it.
Best wishes and happy collecting!

Like it? Love it! Those are great figures and confirm, if needed, that K&C produces the best figures at an affordable price. Now, where are the dromaderies? :D

Pierre.

I keep trying to stay focused on my current collections but after seeing the crusaders and now their opposition I can't resist anymore. The sneak peek did it for me. Those figures look incredible.I can't wait for Chicago.:)

I just read that Emperor Frederick II captured (maybe not alone:) ) a war elephant during the sixth crusade. That would be great if K&C takes advantage of that new serie to re-issue an elephant (see SR01 set. Sold over $900.00 three weeks ago on eBay).

Pierre

Pierre,

Excellent suggestion. I too would love to see another Elephant. I saw that ebay auction as well and made the mistake of showing it to my wife. Now she can't stop chanting "Sell, Sell, Sell...."

And when the Siren's song will become irresistible, send me a PM... Don't tell anybody else... shh, shh...

Pierre.

Andy,

Those figures are approaching, if not already in, St. Petersburg class, and at a much more attractive price.

I was surprised to hear that you didn't have that pamphlet. I would be honored to give it to you. Just let me know if you want me to mail it to you or give it to you at the next time we see each other, probably at the Symposium.

Brad,

Keep your copy of the pamphlet. I have multiples of it, and will give one to Andy in your name if he wants it.

Regards,

Louis

Louis,

Thanks. Appreciate your giving him one. I'm sending a copy to Bill Sager. He doesn't think he has it. Do you know if you've sent him one in the past?

Brad

Louis,
I do need a copy for my records. If you have an extra original I could use it.
Thanks,
Bill Sager
