Brian called me today to inform me the Arnhem series, new ACW figures and new Hitler Youth figures are on the way to me, so look for them at your favorite CS dealer soon. I will have all the new sets in time to take to the big Secaucus New Jersey show on the 16th, hope to see some of you TF's there............

I received the Marder III and the Sdkfz 222 have to say they are are detailed to the max. CS has come a long way in my book. The final product looks exactly like the prototypes shown at the various shows and on their website. Fantastic detail throughout including the roadwheels and tracks on the Marder III. The Marder III gun traverses left and right and the 20mm gun on the can be raised to fend off an aerial assault. The figures are also nicely done, no zombies were found in the boxes.

Many thanks to Brian and CS.

I'll second that review Breaker, cracked open my stock order today and WOW, the Marder III, 222 and flak gun are over the top incredible. Also, as you pointed out, the figures are superb, nice and beefy, very well painted, German camo is very well done and as you said, no zombies, the faces are terrific, the eyes are painted, makes all the difference in the world in my book.

Those of you who had a good many laughs at the faces on the earlier figures may want to get ready to eat a steaming plate of crow at this point..................................

"Once bitten, twice shy" is a proverb advising that trust, once betrayed, is not easily restored.

Understood Oz, people need to see these figures in the flesh, they will be pleasantly surprized................

Hey Breaker-

thanks for the info- I am holding on another week or so to place my order with these guys. Question- can the 20 mike mike be towed by any of the vehicles?? I noticed it has a pintle- can it be towed by the 222??

Hi George, before I put any money down I'd like someone to list some measurements of the models to make sure they are truly 1/30 scale ;)

Curahee,

There is no tow hook on the 222 unfortunately. I have the 20mil on order and already have the 222 and Marder III in hand. My guess is that you won't be disappointed. Like George said the figures are very well done with the painting as good as any. I can only vouch for the tanker figures as I haven't seen the infantry figures in person.

Thanks bud-

appreciate the input. I just see the pics of the 20 mm and I think it would be neat if you could tow it somehow. Thinking on it now, the 222 might not have had enough horses to tow that thing anyway- I may be wrong.

Oz,
Have a look over in the show report section of my pictures of the CS vehicles in my displays and you be the judge, they are right there sizewise with K & C IMO............

Glad I could help you out; let me know if you need up close, tighter shots and I'll see what I can come up with......

Welllll, I reckon there's a few of us that would like to see some closer shots of the CS vehicles next to K & C figs :)

Will do my best to get that done for you Oz asap..........
