New K&C Collector Question (1 Viewer)

Hi,

new to K&C but not new to the hobby. First of all, terrific figures, detail is amazing and the subject matter is interesting. Anyhow, I ended up joining the collector club and am thoroughly enjoying the figures I bought.

I am interested in obtaining the early club figures. I have found CF003 already.

So, in need of 1 and 2.

How much are they trading at and where is the best place to find them? K&C was kind enought to send me photos so at least I know what I am looking for.

Hi Tom, Welcome to the forum. You should be able to find what your are looking for. Just have patience as not every member checks the new posts everyday. Although some of us seem to check it more often than that and on a very regular basis

What K&C do you collect I wish I had the funds, I'd get'em all, including the Streets of Old Hong Kong and the Chinese. Wish I had the old Chinese Army series. What works of art they look to be. Anyway, I like the WWII, Napoleonic and Crusader stuff myself. Haven't started the Crusaders yet, but its on my list to begin soon

If you have a chance, look around the Gallery section on Treefrogs homepage and the "post a diorama tonight" thread. Great pictures of some really neat collections and dioramas

Really just starting out with K&C, I too like most of the sets! I have collected Britains and Conte, some Forward March before this and way back to figures from Reeves.

As for K&C, I am not too fond of the subject matter for the LAH series, but I have to say the detail is amazing. I thought about buying the staff cars some time ago and now wish I would have as LA 17, 19 and 21 are long hard to find. Anybody have an idea of what they go for now? I like the cars more than the figures in this case.

I am not a LAH fan, but bought a staff car, with figures, because of the resin detail. And besides, they are easy prey for when my American patrols ambush them......Michael
