So good for building a wonderful scene around.Start off small and hopefully build up to a square.

Rob

We have the French Heavy Calvary ready to cut them down

These new figures are really great - cant wait to start buying them too. :D

I think that a smaller diorama such as the one shown on Andy's web site is perfect....smaller displays seem to do as good a job if not better than a larger one. We all know that these battles were huge...but...realistically who has the money and the room to do huge regiments, squares etc. My regiments usually consist of about 26 men and they have every much an affect as the larger displays, I save money and room by doing this.

WELLINGTON

I agree i think that picture looks great, its what i want to reproduce in my office. As Wellington said its about money and space, better to have a small realistic looking dio than none at all.

Sir Arthur said that? I don't remember that being one of his more famous battlefield quotes...:D

Simon

Rob

....and then Picton was killed.....

Such the fate of those who oppose the Mighty Marshal Ron !

Yeah and as he died Picton gasped his final words.."May God grant us this Victory in certain knowledge of a hundred years peace in Europe, and may the sacrafice of men both British and French be a memorial to our efforts for a united Europe....and we should all give very generous Xmas tips to Postmen".I swear thats just what he said :D

Did they reverse the negatives for the flyer or do they actually have that many lefties?

So Rob - since we are on a Napoleonic (i love that name :D) Thread - what is on your "To Buy" list for the London Show?? - Napoleonics ??

Ok Ron,on D-Day + 17 here is my latest prediction.

Hummel
Calling for reinforcements
WW1 figures
And either 'Seizing the Colours' or a few of the British Guards.

I am also going to be checking out HB's new Shermans and NMA's new SPG.

That should be enough for one day!
