Guys

I know that the LAH is not everyones cup of tea as we would say (even though in the UK Hitler out sells Churchill 3-1 weird bunch us brits)

But i have to pack Andy and his team on the new internal and external packaging. The new guts have lost the foam (tends to snag on LAH and NAPS) and is now replaced by a clear plastic shaped case. With the figure being wired in around the waist.

All our customers can be assured that we will be removing and inspecting as normal practice by K&C UK.

Well done Andy smart move both for traders and customers alike.:D

Tony,

You open and inspect every item before shipment? I wish more dealers did that. It would solve a lot of problems.

Brad

EVERY item is opened checked and often we tweak the foam to ensure there is no snagging.

From the unit very soon we will be adding inspected notes to show that they have been inspected. You get to know the items that need a good look over and those that just need a brush over.

All part of the K&C UK service. :D

That is fantastic. That's top of the line customer service. This ought to be standard for everyone. When I buy an item nowadays I ask for that to be done. Kudos to you guys.

.........jazzeum our MUM opens up EVERYTHING and checks, Tony makes the tea.....:)

Is that the same type of packageing that Hachette, Atlas and DelPrado came in?
If so how can you once removed put it back in the box?

it is like a little case. a sculpted black plastic base (with a felt effect) then the figure is tied down with plastic wire. covered witha clear plastic moulded top which is taped down.

we will be cutting the tape and untieing the figure to inspect it then place it back in and re tape.

Just finished 51 LAH 25 fairly quickly.

this is ofcouse within the normal brilliant designed box's. The new LAH are just awesome

I am failing to see how this is better than the regular packaging. I have found that the less disturbed the packaging the better figures travel. If I removed everything from its box and wrapping and then replaced it I think it would do more harm than good. We make it a point NOT to open anything on its way from the factory to the customer for this very reason.

As a consumer, I'm going to have to disagree. I've found lately that when I receive some boxes, there's some spoilage, which is not too pleasing. In the last big shipment that I ordered -- the Americans BoB -- I asked the dealer to open and check every one for breakage. I don't want to have to get something, find it's broken, then ship it back, get a new one, etc. That's just disappointing and a pain to boot.

Yes, inspection prior to shipping is the only way to go. It may get damaged after that but, at least it wasn't broke before it was sent to the customer. I have seen several cases when figures came from the factory with some serious issues. Depending on which factory did the job, the QC can be spotty. Nothing POs a customer more than getting a broken item.

As a consumer and not a retailer, thank goodness I don't have to worry about customer service - I've got enough other crap to worry about. As that consumer, I don't care if the package was checked by the retailer after arrival from the wholesaler or not. All I care about is that when I check the figure, it arrives without defect and if it does have something wrong with it, the dealer will replace it (at no cost to me) regardless of any reason. I, the consumer, am only concerned with the bottom line, a quality product for a reasonable price with a no question return policy. There are no guarantees in life, but a dealer can make corrections.

I am very fortunate. I have received large and small orders from US dealers and eBay sellers overseas. Only one figure was damaged and it was replaced at no cost to me. :) Michael

Thanks Bill. My local dealer apparently is behind the curve.
