New line suggestion- Aztec, Maya, Inca & Conquistadors line (1 Viewer)

A period in history that has been neglected I would love to see an Mesoamerican Indian Conquistador line done by First Legion. The elaborate costumes worn by the natives and the Spaniard armor and cavalry can be well presented by FL.

Would it be something that would interest you?

Any thoughts on covering this time period Matt?
 
I agree that First Legion should explore this time period. The Spanish Tercio inspired the same thoughts from myself months ago. I am sure that the natives would be stunning.

I know that a major TS company has sculpted Aztecs and Conquistadores for future release. I would love to see them sooner than later!
Morgan Miniatures does have a nice range of these but poses are limited and painting style while good could be improved upon by others.

I've seen Morgan Miniatures but the detail for the price is not that great. The price they charge are more First Legion prices without the sculpting and detail.


So there's a company that will be releasing this line in the future?
 
I think this is a great idea but it makes me wonder at what point does FL get spread too thin? They continue to grow and add ranges while I don't see them dropping any. Yet many already complain of their favorite lines not being supported w/ reinforcements. Thoughts?

I was told that they have about a dozen sculpts but were not sure when they would release so I am held to secrecy.....I will ask if I can reveal and when they would expect to produce.
I am sure, however, that they will do an excellent job so lets keep our fingers crossed.

True.....I would love to see more Alexander the Great releases (Persian cavalry and chariots, Macedonian and Greek light infantry, archers and slingers).....Vietnam vehicles (M113, Huey and NVA tanks).....Renaissance Landsknechts standing and marching, a camp scene. Mounted French Knight for Agincourt.....Early Empire Napoleonics (Marengo, Austerlitz, Friedland, Wagram and Spanish campaigns).
So much more to add on right now!

I agree about Morgan value but they were the only game in town for this series.
