I see from the King and Country website that there is a new series coming out in September called MK. It's a medieval series. Did I miss something? Or has this just happened?

Not my thing but looks nice. There are 20 of them

Also saw that they will be 1/32 as opposed to 1/30, Andy made specific mention of this in the News section.

Oh great, I'm going to be (1) broke and (2) shot by my wife because I am going to need more space! But man is that siege tower something special!!

Which one first? Shot or broke?

I am suprised at you Louis. I am sure your wife would never shoot you. Maim you yes but never shoot you.

My wife has been really understanding up to this point. Now that the central air is in and work is beginning on my upstairs museum, she thinks that my entire collection is disappearing from her view. Believe me, if I set up a castle being attacked by that siege engine anywhere but in my designated space, not only will she shoot me, she'll use a ma-deuce!

Great series, love the Knight on the horse with the bowl hair cut! Andy you have really come up with a winner here. I agree with louis and love the siege tower, will definitely be getting this new series and hope you are going to inroduce some Saracens soon?
Keep up the good work.

According to the blurb it would appear that the Crusades only narrowly got the nod ahead of two other medieval alternatives. I would presume that one of those was the Hundred Years War (eg Agincourt would provide a beautiful contrast between English archers/foot soldiers and elaborately-decorated French knights, a sort of medieval version of the existing Waterloo Napoleonics).

However, I think Andy made the right choice, as the Crusades have always had an appeal beyond Europe and as a series I'd say it'll attract people who don't actually collect miniatures at present. Should be interesting. I'll certainly get a few to go with my Russian miniatures but I really need Saracens, not Templars, Hospitallers and other knights, so I'll be looking forward to Saladin's men.

The siege tower is awsome. I can't remember every seeing one of these anywhere in 1/32. I want 10 of them. Its going to be a hit. I don't care if siege towers weren't used in WW2 my WW2 guys are going to be all over these things

Most of you know the Russians hand painted figures are in 1/32. If you goto ebay and click on thier feedbacks you'll notice that they sell alot of medievil figures.. No question about it they do have very good quality hand painted figures but they are expensive. So if you want to buy a handfull figures its going to cost you a arm and a leg or these days a kidney. Once the general public who are interested in medievil knights, including myself become aware that there is a company selling them, more people will turn to K&C figures. There has been noone wth K&Cs quality to fill this void. With Saladins army and future releases in following centuries to come, this will be a hit series.

I can't wait for a catapult, I hope its a working one I have some figures I'd like to try launching, just for fun.

Oh yes I'm going to be one of "those people" some horseback, kneeling, standing, reloading archers defending, attacking pikemen. please ever so kindly on the next set of releases.
