I am a big fan of the desert village series like you. There is a shortage of walls for collectors so a new version would be readily snapped up. I was hoping for that new building to be released shown in the latest collector mag. Catching up with Andy on Monday so I will mention it, if I can get his ear that is. If I was not already collecting so many series I would be with you on these mounted figures. Always like mounted troops, horse or camel. {sm4}, Robin.

OD,

looks like you had a great day when the post arrived with your big box of NAPs :)

They look great all set out together,

Welll Done !

OUTSTANDING - Love the display !

I really do love these NE figures ! - Must get caught up on my collection too ! ^&grin

Napoleon !

OD...this looks great...blue...red...green...it's a very colorful and interesting collection...

Ron, Mike ... Thank you for your kind comments.

K&C's Nap in Egypt releases are coming along pretty regular indicating it's popularity. Still many opportunities for K&C to explore ... the Mamelukes/Ottomans will bring even more color and exoticism to this range, as could the personalities, the Scientific contingent and eventually the British counter invasion.

Large displays of toy soldiers always look great but Napoleonic's are incredible due to the variety of colour. Outstanding display, I enjoyed viewing it very much. Thanks for sharing.

When the walls were released I asked Andy if he would consider corner walls to make an enclosed structure. I bought four walls and the rest of the buildings. The stable wall can also be used as an outside wall.
Besides using them for Ancient and Medieval compounds I set up a Khartoum siege diorama and they worked wonderfully with my Mahdi and Egyptian troops.
So versatile, I don't know why Andy stopped making these.

The Napoleon in Egypt is one of my favorites. I look forward to many more releases in this great series. Find below some photos of my shelf display I have set up in my "barracks"

OD, pleased you like the set up.....actually I have a number of these shelf displays that are Napoleon related (one of my favorite figure subjects).. The trees are from a number of sources, to include MARX playset trees that I have repainted and put on bases with model railroad lanscaping tidbits. The best however are some palm tree and bushes I actally picked up at a model railroad show. I mount them on a base from an expired credit card or hotel key card, apply some modeling putty and decorate with again, model railroad landscaping stuff. I also repaint them, as they have a really "plastic" look to them right out of the package. Photo 1 has the bush in the middle of the photo, the tree is in photo 2 between the Mamaluke and the old boy himself on the camel. These trees are extremely in expensive and easy to dress up, so I highly suggest hitting a model rail show and seeking out the landscaping suppliers......and what ever you do, get the K&C new release of baskets and jars....they really add to any scene you set up....love these accessories and hope K&C continue to offer new pieces to compliment the figures and vehicles.

Hope this was what you were asking

Walt Damon
